The Cybercrime Law in Jordan aims to combat crimes committed using digital technology and the internet. Law No. 27 of 2015 on Information Technology Crimes in Jordan was issued in 2015, serving as the primary legal framework for combating cybercrimes in the country.
The Cybercrime Law in Jordan stipulates penalties for offenses such as hacking, data theft, cyberbullying, electronic forgery, cyber extortion, etc. It also defines procedures for receiving reports, collecting digital evidence, and international cooperation in combating cybercrimes.
Additionally, the law aids in developing technical procedures for combating cybercrimes, including providing training and technological improvements for regulatory and enforcement agencies.
